Catch of the Month: April 2008

April 2008: Steve

Steve (49) was raised in Florida, and still has family in the South-East. After graduating college there, he headed west to the sunny shores of California, and now makes his home near the beach. Steve is an outdoor-loving, free spirited, scientist by day, pianist by night. His favorite animals are dogs for their unconditional love, loyalty, and playfulness. On the rare occasion you'll find him at a Starbucks he might order an Iced Americano. He describes himself as calm during a ‘storm’, curious and content with or without fanfare.

On an ideal first date he'd love to take a long walk after dinner outdoors. On a lazy Sunday afternoon he likes to cook breakfast for two and later do a bike ride on the beach.

In his own words: "For fun I like scuba diving, snow skiing and playing jazz piano, but not all on the same day. I'm also into taking walks, hikes, riding a bike at the beach, and checking out the latest exhibit on museum row. I'm also a runner, and do an occasional push-up. When I'm not engaged in these activities, I'm a professional in the health/medical field. I'm looking for someone who has interests that are as varied as my own, so I can learn and explore new things that I may have overlooked in this busy life in LA."
